Background & Job Description
The Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship is a non-accredited, professional development program that brings together creative and dynamic cultural leaders from the UK and a select group of international countries. The fellowship is designed to be experiential and self-guided, with a flexible structure that includes residential courses, secondments, and bespoke learning opportunities. This fellowship is a fully funded program, covering flights, accommodation, living expenses, and all training and development costs, allowing fellows to focus entirely on their growth.
Tasks
Fellows will undertake a variety of activities tailored to their individual needs, including:
- Participating in two intensive residential leadership courses in the UK.
- Completing a 4- to 6-week secondment at a UK-based cultural institution, often in a field different from their own.
- Attending non-residential skills-based workshops and conferences.
- Engaging in a 360-degree leadership profile assessment for self-awareness.
- Receiving support from a mentor or coach.
- Exploring a thought-leadership topic and producing a written provocation paper.

Qualifications
Education and Certification
Applicants must hold a degree equivalent to at least a good UK second-class honors degree or have equivalent professional training and/or experience.
Experience
A minimum of five years’ work experience in the arts and culture sector is required. The fellowship is for mid-career professionals who can demonstrate a strong commitment to their field and a clear vision for their leadership journey. Applicants must also be a citizen of one of the eligible countries: Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico, or South Africa.
