The FAO Internship Programme invites applications from eligible students and recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in international development, food security, and sustainability. Interns contribute to the organization’s work and develop their skills in a multicultural environment across various FAO departments.

Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or postgraduate program
- Must be from an FAO member country (e.g., Afghanistan is included)
- Proof of enrollment or recent graduation required
Experience
- Aged 21–30 at the start of the internship
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work in diverse cultural settings
- No close relatives employed at FAO
- Possession of a valid visa/residency permit for the internship location

- Duration: 3 to 11 months
