What You’ll Do

As a RED Desk Intern, you’ll work closely with SI’s HQ team to coordinate field operations and support donor relations:

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in administrative tasks and program monitoring
  • Support proposal writing and donor reporting
  • Track project timelines, reports, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain organized archives and update project documentation
  • Liaise with SI field teams and departments like HR, logistics, and communications
  • Monitor geopolitical developments in assigned countries
  • Update internal tools such as country profiles, contact lists, and expatriate info packs

  • Exposure to internal workflows and HQ-field collaboration

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, you must:

  • Be enrolled in or recently graduated with a Master’s degree in:
    • Humanitarian Action, International Relations, Development, WaSH, Agronomy, etc.
  • Be fluent in French and proficient in English (C1/C2)
  • Have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Show commitment to humanitarian values and SI’s mission
  • Have Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Be autonomous, adaptable, and able to manage tight deadlines
  • Ideally have volunteer or NGO experience
  • Be able to provide a valid internship agreement from your university

Internship Benefits

  • Allowance: €5.60/hour (~€860/month full-time)
  • Transport: 50% coverage of Navigo pass
  • Meals: 60% subsidy on lunch vouchers (€8.90/day)
  • Leave: 2 paid leave days per month
  • Training: Access to internal and pre-departure humanitarian training
