Background & Job Description

The OECD CRP is an international program that aims to provide scientific information and advice to inform future policy decisions. The Research Fellowship is a key part of this effort, sponsoring short-term research projects for individual scientists. The fellowship covers travel costs and provides a weekly subsistence allowance of up to 650 EUR. Fellows are expected to conduct research in a host institution located in another participating country, contributing to one of the CRP’s three research themes: Managing Natural Capital, Strengthening Resilience, and Transformational Technologies and Innovation.

Tasks

  • Conduct Research: Carry out a research project in a host laboratory in a CRP member country.

Qualifications

Education and Certification

  • You must have a PhD or equivalent expertise in agriculture, forestry, or fisheries.
  • Applicants should have a minimum of four years of postdoctoral training.

Experience

  • You must be working in an institution located in a country that is a current member of the OECD CRP.
  • You must have a contract with your current employer that ensures continued employment after the fellowship.
  • A candidate who has previously received this fellowship can only apply for a second award five years after their first.
