Footgear is offering an exciting opportunity through its N6 TVET Internship Programme 2025, designed to help unemployed N6 Business Management graduates gain practical experience in a retail setting. This 18-month internship aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and workplace readiness while supporting participants in obtaining their National Diploma.
Interns will be based in stores, working directly with a dynamic and youthful team. The programme includes exposure to sales, product management, and in-store operations—all crucial for those seeking a career in the retail industry.
Tasks
- Support daily in-store operations and customer service.
- Gain hands-on experience in sales and product handling.
- Participate in store-level business functions and operations.
- Work closely with mentors and team leaders to learn and develop.
- Carry out assigned duties while meeting business and customer needs.
- Maintain store presentation and handle administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Completed N6 Certificate in Business Management from a registered FET College.
- Must provide certified copies of N4, N5, and N6 certificates (issued within 3 months).
Experience & Skills
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Must be immediately available and willing to work extra hours when needed.
