The FirstRand Empowerment Foundation is providing a comprehensive undergraduate bursary through StudyTrust, designed to increase access to higher education for Black South Africans. The bursary targets first-year students enrolling in critical skills degree programmes at traditional public universities. It includes full tuition, accommodation, meals, books, a computer, and a monthly allowance to ensure students can succeed academically without financial stress.

Tasks

While this is not a job, bursary recipients are expected to:

  • Study full-time at a public university in South Africa
  • Maintain strong academic performance

Qualifications

Education and Certification

  • Current Grade 12 learners or recent matriculants (within the last 3 years)
  • Minimum level 5 in Mathematics in Grade 12
  • Must be pursuing a first undergraduate degree
